Mad March Hares, foxes, stags, hearts and stars are a range of hand built porcelain silhouettes designed to twist or hang on a wall, cupboard or door. 

 

The 'Mad March Hare' and 'Illustrated Fox' are hung on copper wire with a porcelain moon or star following the hare and fox into the night. The porcelain hanging hearts and stars are available in a range of designs and colours with an adjustable ribbon and hand made porcelain button to complete the look.

 

Each piece is impressed with patterns and found objects, such as, screws, nails, feathers and buttons and small handmade linocuts and sprigs of birds, hares and flowers are incorporated into each one. All are hand painted, softly glazed and are gilded with gold or silver, in order to catch the light when moved. All look particularly beautiful when hung on a wooden beam, fireplace mantel or a cupboard door.
